Been thinking about the solar panels lately. I think I wrote about this in my book, but here goes anyway. Some collage kid a few years back was studying trees and how the leaves are all over the place, yet the trees still got enough sunlight to grow, etc… Well he thought about how solar panels are always facing south and placed at a 45° angle. Well he built a small scale “house” and placed the panels according to the standard way. He then built “trees ” , placing the panels at different angles and facing every which way.
Turns out the “trees” produced 30% more electricity than the standard placement did.
I think I just might have enough lumber to build trees. My only problem will be digging deep enough in this god awful rocky soil to sink them deep enough. ..
